The challenge: Create a film for the Uzbek market that would feel native to the local audience, not like something made from the outside.

The solution: The shoot took place in Almaty, so on set we had to build a little corner of Uzbekistan almost from scratch.
We cast actors with the right look, carefully worked through the interior details, textiles, and tableware. Even the festive table setting was designed to feel familiar to an Uzbek viewer — with the right dishes and the right presentation.
The result was a vibrant, dynamic film that landed in the Uzbek market as if it truly belonged there.
